Dressed to Kill - Or Be Killed: Fashion Police Squad

Unlike traditional games in which players shoot to eliminate NPCs, Fashion Police Squad has gamers using their weapons for the sake of style: correcting fashion disasters. Set in the city of Trendopolis, where poor fashion choices run rampant, the game's goal is not to eradicate your enemy, but rather to turn unfashionable individuals into stylish icons.

You play as Sergeant Des, a member of the Fashion Police Squad, whose mission is to patrol the city and help citizens improve their style, solving fashion faux-pas from baggy suits to socks with sandals. Players are armed not with classic guns seen throughout the First-Person Shooter genre, but with a variety of fashion-themed gadgets. These include items such as the Belt of Justice, a whip-like belt used to snap some sense into the badly dressed. Each enemy has a specific fashion problem, and players must select the correct weapon to solve them. In addition to standard fashion offenders, you’ll encounter boss fights where you need to use your full arsenal of fashion-fixing tools to defeat particularly outrageous fashion criminals.

A unique element of this game is its usage of pixel-art graphics, reminiscent of classic shooters such as Doom or Duke Nukem 3D, replacing the gritty feeling of these original 90s games with bright, colorful aesthetics to match its stylish theme. Packed with over-the-top dialogue, puns, and fun references to fashion trends and pop culture, the humor and essence of Fashion Police Squad proves it as a standout selection within the FPS genre.
